Douglas Sinclair is a North Carolina real estate instructor and broker who began teaching in 2015 and founded Badger Real Estate Seminars in 2018. He teaches all levels of real estate education, combining technology with techniques shaped by his experience teaching college mathematics and learners through the GAPE principles of education. His goal is to make difficult material understandable, practical, memorable, and clear.
Doug is a REEA member and Gold Standard Instructor, with academic studies spanning Environmental Science, Landscape Architecture, Communications, and Mathematics at three respected universities across the country.
Before entering real estate education, Doug worked across landscape architecture, corporate marketing, consulting, executive recruiting, and mathematics instruction. His professional background included leadership roles with Andersen Consulting, Prime Computer and Computervision, ownership of SilverSands International, and the founding of Twin Rivers Marketing. His consulting work also connected him with several major organizations including IBM Global Services, Fujitsu Systems, Computer Horizons, and Perot Technologies.
Today, Doug serves as CEO of Badger Seminars, Inc., remains an active North Carolina real estate broker, and coauthors real estate books for students and practitioners. His broader career has also included work as a published author, college mathematics professor, outdoor writer, and saltwater fly fishing guide. That varied experience informs an instructional style focused on clarity, practical application, and approachable learning experiences.
